About Adrian
Wales to Padstow, by way of everywhere in between.
Adrian was born in Wales and raised in the middle of England, and landed in Cornwall in 1996 to work a season at Margot’s Bistro in Padstow. Cornwall got under his skin, the way it does, and he never left.
He bought the bistro in 1999 and spent the next sixteen years quietly doing his own thing.
After selling up in 2015 he cooked at The Old Mill in Little Petherick, alongside Henk at Treviskers in Padstow, and at the Harbour Hotel, Padstow.
In July 2019 he picked up a food trailer, and with help from family and friends it slowly became the Cornish Field Kitchen. Then in 2023 came the kitchen in Wadebridge — built together with Georgie and Josh of Kaloura’s Kitchen, and shared with them ever since.
These days he splits his time between private chef work, the Chef’s Table, market trading, and relief chef shifts wherever a kitchen needs an extra pair of hands — or, in his own words, “General Problem Solver.”
